What is Your Return Policy?

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We stand behind our products and guarantee your satisfaction with every order. We will happily process a refund or exchange (if available) within 30 days of purchase, assuming the item is in its original packaging, manufacturer tags are still intact and item is in unused condition.

Open Hazardous materials, including flammable liquids, or sodium hydroxide, are not returnable to HardtoGETitems.

Shipping charges (original and return) are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued after 30 days. Full refund limited to orders of $89 or less. For orders larger than $89, there is a 15% restocking fee. If the purchase was sent with Free Shipping, the original shipping costs will also be deducted from the refund. Return processing time generally takes a few days.

How Do I Make A Return?

For U.S. orders, if you need to return an item and you have a registered account, simply login to your account.

  • View the order using the Completed Orders link under My Account menu
  • Click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

If you do not have an account and checked out as a guest, just contact us to receive a Return Authorization number for your return.

In either case, we'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item) or because the item you received is defective in some way.

What If Items are Damaged or Lost During Shipping?

In the unfortunate case of items damaged or lost during shipping, we will arrange to have the damaged items picked up and new replacements sent at no cost to you. To report damaged or lost items, just click on the My Account link at the top of the page. Find the order that was damaged and click on it. Choose the Trouble with My Order link.

IMPORTANT: Shipping damage or lost items must be reported within 10 days of the scheduled date of delivery.

How Do I Make An Exchange?

Exchanges are accepted only within 30 days of the original order ship date. All items must be in As New condition, meaning unmodified in any way. Please call our Customer Service at 732.294.7798 to receive exchange confirmation and a Return Authorization number for your return.

Note: If the new item costs more, we'll charge you for the difference in price. We'll refund you the difference if the new item costs less.

Cancelling Your Order

We work hard to get your orders shipped as quickly as possible. If you have placed an order and would like to cancel it, please contact us immediately. We will do all that we can to stop the items from being processed and/or shipped but there is no guarantee that we will be able to stop it in time.
